UA Arizona Center on Aging Researchers Studying Physical Activity and Fall Risk

An interdisciplinary team of researchers at the Arizona Center on Aging, under Principal Investigator Dr. Jane Mohler, is conducting a study on the role of physical activity in  avoiding falls and remaining resilient as we age.

The study takes about two hours in the home or assisted living setting, with a second visit in 6 months. A total of $50 compensation is provided. We will be enrolling men and women, 65 years of age and older, who have had a fall in the past 6 months, and are  able to walk 15 feet (may use cane or walker).
